With a simple 3/4 turn to open and close and a synthetic EPDM O-ring, these screw caps ensure a perfect seal every time. You want to be sure that the contents of your microtubes remain stable and unaffected by outside influences. The same applies to (cross) contamination. The high-quality O-ring seal ensures that your sample is perfectly sealed in the microtube.
