The Micronic 0.80ml externally threaded tubes have a sturdy design and thick tube walls. These tube properties allow researchers to store samples at ultra-low temperatures. By storing samples in Micronic’s externally threaded storage tubes, researchers can eliminate the possibility of samples coming into contact with the screw cap thread. This, in turn, helps researchers minimize the risk of cross-contamination.
The external thread of the 0.80ml tubes gives an excellent closure and horizontal placement of the cap to ensure long-term sample storage and preservation. The code surface of the tubes with external thread features a raised edge, which protects the 2D code against accidental scratches, ensuring absolute sample traceability.

The external thread improves sample safety (cross-contamination is minimized) while maximizing storage volume.
The 0.80ml tubes are standard available with 2D Data-Matrix codes, the racks are 1D barcoded, and the codes are permanently laser-etched.
The black code surface cannot be separated from the transparent tube due to the patented 2K injection molding technique.
Resistant against chemical solvents, the tubes are produced in a class 7 clean room and are RNase/DNase and Pyrogen free.
