To meet the diverse needs of different researchers, Micronic offers a range of sealing solutions. Internally threaded tubes can be sealed with a standard Screw Cap, a Screw Cap Ultra, or a Low Profile Screw Cap.
Micronic internally threaded Low Profile Screw Caps securely seal tubes for long-term sample storage at ultra-low temperatures. The caps are available for 96-well tubes (resulting in freezer space savings up to 33%), and are compatible with Micronic sample storage tubes in the following volumes: 0.50ml, 0.75ml, 1.10ml, 1.40ml and 2.00ml.

The silicon O-ring on the internally threaded screw cap provides the most optimal seal for storage at ultra-low temperatures.
The internally threaded low profile screw caps are compatible with 96-well (0.50ml, 0.75ml, 1.10ml, 1.40ml, and 2.00ml) tubes.
The low profile screw caps are available in 12 colors: black, grey, white, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, light blue, light green, and green.
The internally threaded low profile screw caps resist chemical solvents. All caps are produced in a class 7 clean room and are RNase/DNase and Pyrogen free.
